It’s been fascinating watching Twitter during the World Cup. Well, in between Fail Whales. Twitter deciding to make some major under-the-hood changes at a time when their traffic is screaming does display a bit of “AT&T-ism”, believing you can do more then you can. More of a “Scale Fail.” But when you live on the edge, sometimes things don’t go as planned. And Twitter has been giving you the play-by-play of the screwup. In fact, the reason I can talk with authority on the Twouble with Twitter is that Twitter has told me and everyone else what’s happening.
